It was just a balanced option for a weekend pause in Skegness great for the money. The owners were very welcoming and accommodating, allowing an early check-in which made our arrival easier. Just a heads-up, if you have mobility issues, the stairs can be quite steep.

I stayed in a single room, and it was surprisingly comfy. The bed was super cozy, with lots of pillows. Mini fridge was handy, and the room had an inviting vibe with soft lighting. Everything was clean, too. Just wish it wasn't so dated and cluttered. could use a little sprucing up. a nice spot to crash after a long day.

I enjoyed my stay at The Southwold. The breakfast was superb, and I had a delicious full English on both mornings. The room was clean, bright, and comfortable. I appreciated the cozy bed and lovely bedding. The decor was charming, with a unique cat theme that added a fun touch. Owners Les and Lisa were incredibly welcoming, making sure I had everything I needed. They even provided great local tips, which I really liked. The location was perfect, just a short walk to the beach and local attractions. I did notice the room was a bit small, and the ensuite was tight. The shower could use some updating. it lacked consistent hot water. The hallway noise from other guests was noticeable at times, which disrupted my sleep. the overall experience was lovely, and I would surely come back again.
